Check if your premium server is hooked up to NMM. If the speed is still slow then swap out and download a decent sized mod to test with. Also, I know that this is unrelated, but I would strongly consider using Mod Organizer. It's a much more mod-friendly tool that doesn't mess with the vanilla game folder. whenever i try to download NMM either via the program itself or via the nexus sites the download is very very slow. like 1 kb. via the site it says the download will be finished in an hour. but this is weird as all the other downloads on the nexus sites work properly and are very fast. Mods download extremely slow or not at all. Figured it was time for yet another TES V replay so choose this one, but now when I try to update mods, nothing happens. It's stuck at 0% ? Sounds to me like your internet is terrible or you have literally no idea what you are doing. Nexus mods are just as easy to install manually too and also Nexus is downloading ridiculously slowly. Hey, guys! I'm from Brazil, so Nexus probably doesn't have servers very close to me. Either way, my download speeds usually go for 200/300kbps, however, on the Nexus, I can barely hit 10kbps on my browser. I play with a lot of difficulty mods so it was a pretty intense fight , I got the trolls If i download game from steam i can get 3mb/s but if i download mods from nexus (manual download) i only get 20kb-100kb/s. If it's too slow for you, just go back when there's likely to be less people using it. THIS IS really weird. Downloading via my browser manually is quicker @_@ Manual downloads come from a Mirror. NMM downloads are from their servers. I've discovered the more popular mods that I use are on Bethesda.net. They download stupid fast from there. Nexus Mods site is so slow, is it just for me? holy shit man, since SSE i've been trying to download mods from the site and i just simply can't, when I try with NMM it always appears "server unreachable" and on the site it just keeps loading any nothing happens, also the the whole site is shitty lately Wtf happened to Nexus. I've been gone Nexus has this trouble almost every time there is a sale for Skyrim. A bunch of new people buy the game (or they get the DLC that they are missing) and run to Nexus for the Unofficial patches, ENB settings and a ton of other mods. The influx of people is just to big for the Nexus servers to handle. So download grinds to a few kb/sec. NOT COMPATIBLE with "Simply Capped Slow" by myself. Simply capped slow is a newer alternative for SKSE users that only want a cap without removing scaling completely or replacing it with a weird stamina workaround. Note for Mysticism: This mod is largely unnecessary if using Mysticism as Simon has his own fix for the issue. At this point i'd rather give money to Bethesda's creation club because the practises that Nexus are doing is as low you can possibly go. Creating artificial roadblocks in an attempt to try and get more money is just scummy and pathetic and is something you should only expect by mobile games and shit like that, not a community website made for mod developers and the people who wanna download them.
This mod lets your character run faster than the default snail's pace of morrowind, with different levels of speed available!

Right now I have open a youtube video, this website, the task manager, and Nexus mods which I'm using to download one mod sized 570mb. I just downloaded a couple small video files using bitcomet after taking my computer out of sleep and the download was fast without any lag. 10 minutes later it's back to being laggy. I downloaded the same file that was going slow in my browser and it completed in seconds. Here is a screenshot I took: (I started the MtROR.zip download about 2-3 minutes after the condensa.zip one and I had to scramble to take a screenshot because it was going so fast) Speedtest.net result right after: When you download, get the download url and traceroute that, again is seems to be a issue relating to your pc / isp as you note all other part of the site work pefectly, so i dont see it being an issue with our servers, we just had a massive amount of downloads and whilst the servers worked fine, the mirrors and downloads did struggle, but no reports of slow speeds like you are mentioning so
